FREE TRAINING – SHORT COURSES 

Together, Central Coast Community College and Pacific Link Housing are offering the following FEE FREE* courses for Semester 3, 2020:

  • Cook and Create
  • Industry Essentials

*This course free to eligible students under the Adult and Community Education Community Services Obligation (ACE) Program. This funding has been designed to support people who experience barriers to training and employment.

Cook and Create


Starting – Courses currently postponed due to COVID-19
Duration – Weekly for 8 weeks (excluding school holidays)
Location – Central Coast Community College, South Loop Road, Ourimbah 

A course where you can learn, cook, create, have fun and grow! Subjects include hygienic food practices, nutrition and healthy eating, reading and interpreting recipes, creative work and personal budget planning. Register online

Industry Essentials


Starting – Courses currently postponed due to COVID-19
Duration – Weekly for 8 weeks (excluding school holidays)
Location – Central Coast Community College, South Loop Road, Ourimbah

Get your essential industry tickets today! This workshop looks at the skills needed to help you enter or re-enter the workforce. Gain all your essential tickets such as: RSA, RCG, Barista, Bar skills, Whitecard and First Aid, whilst creating an up to date resume to help improve your chances of gaining employment. In 2017 Pacific Link established a collaborative relationship with Central Coast Community College, to provide tenants with nationally accredited and non-accredited training programs that meet the needs of the local community. Each course is fee-free for all eligible students under the ACE CSO program. Many tenants will find themselves eligible for a funded place in their training course of choice, to ensure you meet the eligibility requirements, check out the Smart & Skilled eligibility page.
