The Roselands studio apartments project, comprising of 26 units (13 social, 12 affordable, 1 manager) was approved in November 2016 by the Joint Regional Planning Panel (JRPP) and the recently amalgamated Canterbury Bankstown Council.

This project is the second of three developments that Pacific Link is undertaking in a joint venture with Evolve Housing. These units will cater to people on the social housing waitlist and low-income earners who are struggling with Sydney’s rental housing affordability.

Due for completion late 2018, this project is progressing on schedule with all ground floor, walls and sub-floor framing now completed. The first stages of brickwork have commenced, and the roof trusses and roof sheeting will soon be installed.

” The Roselands project is progressing smoothly thanks to strong communication with our partners Evolve Housing, the team of consultants and contractor Skope Constructions” said Mark Glew, Pacific Link’s Manager, Property Assets & Development

“This project will go a long way to addressing the shortage of social and affordable housing in the Roselands area,” said Pacific Link Chairman, David Bacon.

Once open, these apartments will be managed by Evolve Housing with a focus on providing ongoing tenant support.
